• Who can participate in auctions on Agorastore?

  The auctions are open to everyone: individuals, professionals, public associations or bodies.

  For some sales, participation criteria may be required for legal or security reasons (hazardous materials, etc.). Everyone is free to make a bid on a product of interest.

  Some sales are restricted to authorised professionals (e.g. rolling stock merchant), in which case this will be stated with the header " Sale reserved for trade professionals ".

  This is requested by certain vendors due to the guarantees on the material sold. 

• Is it necessary to present on the premises during the bidding?

  Everything happens through your computer, tablet or phone during the dates indicated on the product sheet of the property concerned.

• Do I have to be registered in order to bid?

• What is a fixed bid?

  The fixed bid allows you to immediately make an offer for a product.

  On the product fact sheet, enter the amount you wish to offer to buy the material, taking into account the minimum increase, then click on the " Bid " button.

• What is an automatic bid?

  Automatic bidding allows you to set a maximum bid on a product.

  When you set a maximum bid amount, if someone else bids on that product, you will automatically rebid above that amount with the minimum increase. Automatic bidding is triggered up to the maximum amount you set.

  Simply tick " Automatic " instead of " Fixed ", enter the maximum " bid " amount you are willing to pay for this product and click " Bid ".

• Can I bid below the starting price?

  For certain goods, and with the permission of the seller, a tab located below the price allows you to make an offer below the displayed starting price.

  This offer will be considered in the event that no bid is made during the sale period.

• How do I bid on a product?

  To bid on Agorastore, you first need to register by clicking here.

  Confirm your registration by clicking on the link you receive by mail.

  Connect by clicking " Login " at the top of the page.

  Then go to the product that interests you, enter the amount you want to offer and click " Bid ".

  If you have any questions about the technical features or want to see a product, you can contact the seller via the option " Enter your question " on the product's page. You will receive an answer in this same location and in your mailbox.

• How do I submit my bid?

  To submit your bid, tick the box " I accept the General Terms and Conditions " after having read them and click the " Submit " button.

  This double operation constitutes a signature and commits you.

  After this you can monitor your bids in " My bids ". You will also be notified of all bidding by email.       

   

  A message appears to confirm that your bid has been successfully submitted.

• How do I track my bid and know whether it has been successfully submitted?

  You can access your bidding history via " My bids ". Also, email alerts are sent to you if you are outbid.

  Add Agorastore to your favourites to avoid it being marked as spam.

   

  Note that e-mail alerts are not sent during the final two hours of the sale of a product.

• How can I be sure of having won an auction?

  When the auction selling period of a product is over, the winning bidder receives an automatic email from Agorastore confirming them of their winning bid.

  Then during the following days they will receive a confirmation email from the seller indicating the complete terms of payment and collection of the product.

  You can also check your purchase by accessing your account under " My bids ".

  Note: the sale is not confirmed until the seller sends the email confirming the winning bid to the highest bidder.
