This article is for sellers. It shows you where to track the status of your items, what each status means, and what actions are available to you at each step, from publication through to collection.

- Listings still being prepared live in
My Drafts; once approved, they move toMy Sales.
- Each item belongs to one sale, attached to a session whose calendar it follows.
- At closing, the sale is either awarded to a buyer or not awarded.
- If the reserve price isn't met, you can accept or decline the sale from
My Sales.
1. Where to track your items
Section | What you'll find there |
My Drafts | Listings being drafted, those awaiting review, those needing changes, and those rejected. |
My Sales | Approved items: upcoming, currently for sale, sold, unsold, or to be relisted. |
An approved item automatically leaves My Drafts: if it's disappeared from your drafts list, look for it in My Sales.
2. An item's life cycle
- Draft: you prepare the listing.
- Awaiting review: our teams check it.
- Upcoming sale: the listing is approved and attached to a sale that hasn't opened yet.
- Sale in progress: bidding is open.
- Closed: the sale is awarded to a buyer, or not awarded.
- After the sale: invoicing, payment, then collection of the item.
Each item belongs to a single sale, and each sale belongs to a session. The opening and closing dates are those of the session: this is what keeps the calendar clear for buyers.
3. What happens at closing
Outcome | What is triggered |
Sale awarded | The item is linked to the buyer, the invoice is generated, payment is expected, then collection is arranged. |
Sale not awarded | No bid was placed, or the reserve price wasn't met and you didn't accept the sale. The item can then be relisted. |
The reserve price isn't met
You're not required to give up on the sale: from My Sales, open the item concerned to accept or decline the best offer received.
- By accepting, the sale is completed and follows the usual process: invoice, payment, collection.
- By declining, the sale stays unawarded and the item becomes eligible for relisting.
Make this decision quickly: the bidder is left waiting, and their interest in the item may move elsewhere.
4. Tracking the post-sale process
Once the sale is completed, three steps follow, visible from My Sales:
- Invoicing: the invoice is generated automatically after the item is awarded.
- Payment: the buyer pays for their purchase. The collection address is shared with them after payment.
- Collection: the item is picked up on the dates you announced, and you confirm collection using the code provided by the buyer.
Entering the collection code is only possible once your business verification is approved. Get this process started early so it doesn't block the end of your sales.
5. Filtering and finding an item
- Use search to find an item by its title.
- Use the status filters, especially
To be relisted, to handle your unsold items.
- Sort by date to spot sales closing soon and prepare the corresponding collections.
Our tips
- Check
My Salesthe day before each closing: it's the best time to prepare for collection.
- Notify the person on-site as soon as a sale is completed.
- Handle unsold items quickly: relisting them works much better while they're still fresh.
- Keep an eye on items whose reserve price wasn't met: a decision is expected from you.
Frequently asked questions
My listing has disappeared from My Drafts, is it lost?
No. An approved listing leaves the drafts and moves to My Sales.
Why isn't my item visible on the marketplace yet?
Because the sale it's attached to hasn't opened yet. Publication follows that sale's calendar.
Can I find out who the bidders are?
No. Bidding is anonymous for the seller. You can track the amounts and the number of bids.
My item sold, when will I be paid?
Payout happens after the buyer's payment and confirmation of collection, according to the terms detailed in the articles on payouts.
What if no one bid?
Your item becomes eligible for relisting, with a more attractive recommended price. You'll receive an email inviting you to do so.
Can I change the dates of my sale?
No, the dates are set by the session. For a specific constraint, talk to your Agorastore contact before publication.
