This article is for sellers. It explains how your in-progress listings are saved, where to find them, how to complete them, and how to submit them for review, one at a time or in bulk.
Summary
- Any listing you start automatically becomes a draft: nothing is lost if you leave the form.
- You'll find your drafts in the
My Draftssection of your Personal Space.
- An incomplete draft is flagged with a warning icon and can't be submitted for review.
- You can submit up to 25 listings at once.
1. How your listings are saved
As soon as you start a listing, it's saved as a draft. Saving is automatic as you fill it in, and the Save and exit button lets you leave the form at any time.
You can save a draft even if required information is missing. However, submitting it for review is only possible once everything is filled in.
If your photos or documents are still uploading, wait before leaving the page: a message will let you know the transfer isn't finished.
2. The My Drafts page
From this page, you can:
- create a new listing;
- filter the list by status and category;
- search for a specific draft;
- resume editing a listing;
- submit one or more listings for review.
Two views are available, table or grid. They show the same information:
Information | Detail |
Thumbnail | The cover photo, or a default image if no photo has been added yet. |
Draft name | The listing title if it's already generated, otherwise a placeholder such as Draft [date] [time]. |
Last edited | The date of the last edit, or otherwise of creation. |
Status | It determines the actions available to you. |
Category | The category selected for the item. |
Three actions are available: Edit, Delete, and Submit for review. Deletion can be applied to several listings at once in table view.
3. Spotting an incomplete draft
- A draft missing required information carries a warning icon. Hover over it to see the details.
- A complete draft shows no icon: it can be submitted for review.
- If you still try to submit an incomplete listing, a message will let you know and the submission is blocked.
To be submitted, a listing must include: all required fields, the make and model where required, a collection method with its address, a valid sale, and a starting price. If you've entered a reserve price, it must be higher than the starting price.
4. Submitting your listings for review
One listing at a time
Open the actions menu for the relevant row, then choose Submit for review. This action appears for listings with the Draft status and no warning, as well as those with the Needs changes status once all their information is complete.
Several listings at once
- Check the relevant listings in the list.
- Choose the
Submit for reviewaction.
- Confirm in the window that appears.
If your selection includes an incomplete listing, a message warns you: only the complete listings will be submitted, the others will stay in your drafts.
You can submit 25 listings maximum at once. Beyond that, a message asks you to narrow your selection.
5. What happens after submission
Your listing moves to the Awaiting review status. An information icon reminds you that a response from our teams is expected within 48 hours.
Three outcomes are possible:
Outcome | What you need to do |
Listing approved | Nothing. It leaves My Drafts and moves to My Sales. |
Change requested | Check the reason, make the correction, then resubmit the listing for review. |
Listing rejected | Check the reason. The only action then available is deleting the listing. |
Viewing a change request
A speech-bubble icon appears on the relevant row. Click it on a computer to open the details; on mobile, the reason is shown in a box.
The most common reasons are photos of insufficient quality, prohibited information in the listing (such as a phone number), or a starting price considered too high to kick-start bidding.
Viewing a rejection
The Rejected status is shown on the row, with a speech bubble giving access to the reason. You also receive an email.
Our tips
- Name your items from the start: a draft without a title appears under a placeholder name, hard to recognize in a long list.
- Use the status filters to quickly spot what needs your attention, especially listings marked
Needs changes.
- Do some regular tidying: delete abandoned drafts to keep the list readable.
- Group your submissions when preparing several items for the same sale.
Frequently asked questions
Is my listing lost if I closed my browser?
No. Saving is automatic: you'll find it again in My Drafts, even incomplete.
Why does my draft show an orange warning?
Because one or more required pieces of information are missing. Hover over the icon to see more, then resume editing the listing.
Can my colleagues see my drafts?
Yes. Drafts belong to your organization: every member with the Product listings role can access them.
How long is a draft kept?
It stays available until you delete it. However, remember to check that the sale you chose is still open before submitting it.
Can I edit a listing that's already been submitted?
No, not while it's awaiting review. If a correction is urgent, contact customer service.
My listing was rejected, can I fix it?
A rejected listing can no longer be edited: the only possible action is deleting it. You can, however, create a new listing taking into account the reason given.
