Add an item to your favorites

Save an item to easily find it again and follow its progress.

🛒

This article is for buyers. It explains how to add an item to your favorites, where to find your favorites, and how to use this page to track the sales that interest you.

Summary

  • The heart shown on every listing lets you save an item in one click.
  • Your favorites are grouped on the My favorites and bids page in your personal space.
  • This page shows ongoing and upcoming sales by default.
  • You can track prices, sort items, and remove a favorite at any time.

1. Add an item to your favorites

  1. Log in to your account: the heart is only active for logged-in users.
  1. Open the listing for the item that interests you.
  1. Click the heart icon, in the top right of the listing.
  1. The item is immediately added to your favorites.
💡

Adding an item to your favorites doesn't commit you to anything and isn't visible to the seller. Feel free to save items generously while browsing: you can sort through them later.

2. Find your favorites

Go to your personal space, on the My favorites and bids page.

This page brings together two types of items:

  • those you have added to your favorites;
  • those you have already bid on.
Tool
What it lets you do
Quick status filters
Show ongoing, upcoming, or ended sales. Several statuses can be selected at the same time.
Sorting
Sort items, for example by ascending price.
Heart icon on the thumbnail
Add or remove a favorite without opening the listing.
ℹ️

By default, only ongoing and upcoming sales are shown. To find an item whose sale has ended, check the Ended status.

3. Remove a favorite

Click the heart again, either from the listing or directly from the thumbnail on the My favorites and bids page. The item disappears from your list immediately.

Removing a favorite has no effect on your bids: an item you've bid on remains visible on this page.

4. Making the most of your favorites

  • Compare: gather several similar items to track their price trends side by side.
  • Plan a viewing: save items in the same region before arranging your trip.
  • Don't miss a closing date: check your list regularly, ongoing sales are highlighted there.
  • Bid without detours: once the sale is open, you can bid directly from this page.
⚠️

Favorites don't trigger any notifications. If you want to be notified by email about new opportunities, create an alert from your search instead.

Our tips

  • Sort through your list regularly: a short list is much easier to read as a closing date approaches.
  • Combine favorites and alerts: the alert helps you discover items, the favorite helps you track them.
  • Note the closing dates of the items you care about: they can be very close to one another.
  • Before bidding, reopen the full listing: the participation and collection conditions are worth a second read.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account to add an item to my favorites?

Yes. The heart only works once you're logged in, because your favorites are tied to your account.

Does the seller know I added their item to my favorites?

No. Your favorites are strictly personal.

How many items can I save?

There's no practical limit. Just remember to tidy up your list from time to time to keep it readable.

An item disappeared from my favorites, why?

Its sale has probably ended: check the Ended status to show it again. An item withdrawn from sale no longer appears.

Am I notified when a favorited sale ends?

No, favorites don't generate emails. Note the closing dates that interest you.

Are my favorites shared with my colleagues?

No. They're specific to your account, even if you belong to an organization with several members.
