This article is for buyers. It explains when your invoice is issued, how long you have to pay it, which payment methods are accepted, and where to start the payment.
Summary
- Your invoice is issued as soon as the item is awarded to you.
- You have 48 hours (2 business days) to pay it.
- Payment covers the full amount due: no installment payments.
- Collection of the item is only possible once your payment has been confirmed.
1. When do you need to pay?
As soon as the sale ends, if the item is awarded to you, your invoice is generated automatically and a purchase confirmation email is sent to you.
The payment deadline is 48 hours, i.e. 2 business days, from when your invoice is issued.
2. Where to find the amount due
In your purchase confirmation email
It includes the amount due, the bank details to use (account holder, IBAN, BIC, payment reference) and, when available, a direct link to the online payment page.
From your personal space
Go to Purchase invoices: the payment section is at the bottom right of your invoice.
3. Payment methods
Method | How it works |
Credit/debit card | From our provider's secure payment page, with confirmation from your bank. Payment is registered immediately. |
Bank transfer | Using the bank details and payment reference provided. Payment is confirmed once the funds are actually received. |
Available methods depend on the sale: some only accept bank transfer. Your confirmation email and invoice indicate exactly what applies to your purchase.
4. Paying online, step by step
- Step 1 — Open your invoice
From Purchase invoices in your personal space, or from the link received by email.
- Step 2 — Check the amount
The payment page shows the total amount due as well as the bank details, if you prefer to pay by transfer.
- Step 3 — Start the online payment
You're redirected to our payment provider's secure page to enter your card details and confirm with your bank.
- Step 4 — Confirmation
A page tells you whether the payment went through, then you're automatically redirected to your purchase invoices after a few seconds.

Please note that no banking information is shared with the seller.
5. Paying by bank transfer
- Use the details shown in your confirmation email or your invoice.
- Copy the payment reference exactly: it's what allows your payment to be identified.
- Transfer the exact amount, in a single transaction.
A bank transfer often takes one to two business days to reach us. Send it as soon as you receive your invoice to stay within the deadline.
6. After your payment
- Your invoice status changes to paid in your personal space.
- The collection information is then shared with you, along with your collection code.
- The seller is only paid after collection is confirmed: your funds remain secure until then.
Our tips
- Pay as soon as you receive the invoice: the deadline is short and weekends don't work in your favor.
- Prefer a credit/debit card if you're in a hurry: confirmation is immediate.
- Check your card's payment limit before starting the transaction.
- Keep your proof of payment until the item is handed over.
Frequently asked questions
Can I pay in installments?
No. Payment covers the full amount due, in a single transaction.
Can I collect the item before paying?
No. Collection is only allowed once your payment has been confirmed.
I received two invoices for the same purchase
That's possible: the item's price and the fees can be split across two documents. A single bank transfer, with the reference shown, then covers both.
My card payment failed
Check your card's limit and validity, then try again from your purchase invoices. If the problem continues, pay by bank transfer or contact customer service.
I forgot to include the payment reference on my transfer
Report it to customer service along with your proof of transfer: the match will be made manually.
When does the seller receive the money?
After they confirm collection, not as soon as you pay.
